Kathleen A. Turano, PhD, President and Co-Founder
Kathleen Turano co-founded Plant Sensory Systems in 2007 to pursue commercialization of agricultural technologies that optimize a plant’s signaling pathways to improve performance. Dr. Turano was formerly a full professor at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, with over 20 years experience in sensory systems and biostatistics. She is known for building and managing innovative and productive research teams.
Frank J. Turano, PhD, Chief Research Scientist and Co-Founder
Frank Turano has over 20 years experience in plant molecular biology and is an international leader in nitrogen biochemistry. He was formerly an associate professor of Biology and Genetics at The George Washington University and a Plant Molecular Biologist and Geneticist at the USDA.
