Kathleen A. Turano, PhD. is co-founder and President of Plant Sensory Systems, LLC. Dr. Kathleen Turano was formerly a full professor at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, with expertise in sensory systems, neuroscience, biostatistics, and management of large datasets. She is known for building and managing innovative and productive research teams.

Frank J. Turano, PhD. is co-founder and Chief Research Scientist of Plant Sensory Systems, LLC. Dr. Frank Turano is an associate professor of Biology and Genetics at The George Washington University. Prior to that, he was a Plant Molecular Biologist and Geneticist at the USDA. He is an inventor on 7 patents/provisional patents in agricultural biotechnology and has over 20 publications in high-impact scientific journals. He has been the recipient of federal government and industry research funds.
